Hey tribe.net

I started a blog a few days ago, makemeswitch.blogspot.com basically telling people my background story:

Full time college student, while working a full time job is difficult. Supporting your family, 4 people and a dog, on top of that is down right challenging.

The purpose of it was to tell my story to everyone on the net, and hope that a few will leave donations. My tagline is “billions of people use the net everyday, I only need a few thousand to give me a dollar and I’ll have a Mac.”

My current machine is a brick of ABS plastic, IBM ThinkPad rocking at 450MHz. It's pitiful, but adequate enough for word and web surfing. The goal is to get enough money to get a 20 inch iMac, and become a switcher since I’ve been a Windows user since age 6 (19 now).

Within the first day of making the blog I got linked to by Gizmodo: www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/ga...-166703.php

The surge of hits got me over $500 in 2 days. I'm simply asking that the more people who know about me, the more likely I am to receive donations. If you think you know someone who can donate then please send them to my site.
