Will paper become obsolete with the encroachment of the internet? Everything is going digital....so what about business cards? Instead of handing out paper business cards.... what if you could own a desktop icon (like that big E used by Microsoft Internet Explorer) and email it out to your contacts. Once clicked on, it'll open up an interactive digital business card with contact information that will always be accurate and update.

So what do you think of that idea?

    The only thing I can think of is, being a musician, that business cards will take a while to go away. Think about all the cards I hand out after gigs. Can't neccessarily go aver to a table and show 'em my laptop.... ;}

      So, what will happen to those business cards after you hand them out? Become hidden under piles of other paperwork? Get lost or accidentally thrown away? Or, what if you had to change your cell number or address? Anyways, what better way to market yourself than to obtain digital real estate (having your portrait icon on desktops world-wide) and making sure every time your contact clicks on your icon, your information is always current. Plus, with a regular paper business card, you can't change your picture anytime you want, add your list of music, credentials and digitally network. And lastly, you don't have to carry your laptop. You can get their business card or email address and send them your digital business card anywhere and any time.
